All of us were able to be together in Tucson. Ray arrived in one of his semis and Don and Lynn drove from St. Louis. Ron and I were already here since we are spending all of December and January in a rental here in Tucson. -Nancy

We had a yummy Christmas dinner that Ramona prepared. After dinner it was time for gifts and games. - Nancy

Hike at Catalina State Park

On Tuesday we enjoyed a hike at Catalina State Park. It was sunny and very windy. There were plenty of Saguaro cacti to be seen. After the hike we had lunch at In-N-Out Burger and then saw the movie Wild about hiking the Pacific Crest Trail. - Nancy

Guests from Hawaii

We stopped in Phoenix on the way back from LA and got Tasha and Rendall when they arrived from Hawaii. A trip and short hike in Sabino Canyon was taken and followed by a picnic lunch. The canyon was green due to much needed rain. - Nancy

It was fun to see all of Ray's family. Of course the star of the gathering was Christian. Mark and Sheila were wonderful hosts. Aaron and his friend Sam came from their jobs as nurses in Modesto. - Nancy

I drove Dad and Ramona from Tucson to my nephew's house in the Woodland Hill area in West L.A. It was a long day's drive. I think I need to get a chauffeur's uniform and hat. I think of the movie Driving Miss Daisy these days. I've driven more in the last two months than I have for many years.
All of my brother Ray's family is here to have an early Christmas together. The hit of the gathering is Christian Mahlon Willits, 4 months old, and the son of David and Leidi. - Nancy
