July 4 in Budapest

Lake Balaton
Today was a good travel day. We had an orderly border crossing from Croatia into Hungary. A stop for lunch at Lake Balaton broke up the trip. Lake Balaton is the largest fresh water lake in central Europe. This evening we had a dinner cruise on the Danube and enjoyed the lights of Budapest that were very impressive. - Nancy

    Dinner cruise on the Danube! Budapest at Night! Wow - that is incredibly scenic. I'd heard good things of Budapest - does it remind you a bit of Prague?
