Our afternoon trip was to the village of Kumrovic, the birthplace of Josip Broz Tito. He certainly had a huge influence in this region of Europe. As our tour guide said today he was a controversial figure. Even so this small village is reconstructed to honor him.
After a tour of the village we went to a nearby restaurant for a traditional dinner. It was OK but not my favorite meal. - Nancy
Looks like a nice chance to get out of big cities. Hopefully, the more rural look was a nice change of pace - even if the food wasn't your most favorite.
wow... looks like a good restaurant from the outside... what kind of food was it?
