One of my favorite memories from Kuala Lumpur was attending the Service of Nine Lessons with Carols at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church where we attended each December. Ron and I decided to attend the same service when I discovered that there one at All Saints' Anglican Church in Rome. We took the bus to the city center and enjoyed seeing the many Christmas lights as we walked from the bus stop to the church. The church was beautifully decorated and the music was inspiring.
One very nice thing that we have discovered in Rome is that people on public transport always give up their seat when they see Ron enter with his cane. On every bus or metro he has always been offered a seat. We so appreciate this courtesy. - Nancy

Indeed, the service brought back memories of KL at Christmastime! An enjoyable evening! We even had pizza prior to the service at All Saints at 6:00 p.m.
And, I have appreciated having a seat on a crowded bus! - rw
