Botanical Garden in Palermo

Fig Tree

After we arrived back in Palermo it was free time. One other person in our group joined me to visit the Botanical Garden. It was a quiet place to walk and was mostly in the shade. There was a tree lined walk of of Silk Floss Trees. The bark of these trees had many spiny, pointed protrusions. It is not a tree to lean against or climb.
