A daughter worth more then diamonds

We always knew our daughter Natasha was precious but when we saw a line of very expensive jewelry called Natasha The Ultimate Jewel at KLCC we were impressed! Even so no purchases were made as the cost of the jewelry was quite high - after all we have the real Natasha in our family.

Rania's Quilt

Grandma Woodward made it a goal to finish the twin bed quilt for Rania by her birthday.

Happy Birthday Rania - She's 4!

Rania had a nice party at her house with friends and family. She was so happy when it was finally time to have her cake and open birthday presents.

Rania has an early birthday

Grandpa and Grandma Woodward gave Rania her present a week early when the family was over for a Sunday swim. It was a collection of Polly Pocket dolls and all the trimmings for them. It wss a hit with Rania.

Nancy in Hong Kong

Nancy served on a CIS/WASC accreditation team for King George V School in Hong Kong. It was a good professional development opportunity but not time for sight-seeing.

Malaysian Author Speaks at ISKL

ISKL had the honor of having Malaysian author Tan Twan Eng speak one evening in the Ampang Library. His book The Gift of Rain was long listed for the Man Booker Prize in 2007.

Monkeys at ISKL

There was a troop of monkeys in a tree next to the library. We also had a civet cat visit for two nights. It left a terrible smell in the library. We do live in the tropics.

Ron has a birthday!

Ron celebrated his birthday by attending a concert at the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra. We also had a family celebration that included a cake and handmade cards for Grandpa.
