A Chinese New Year Sleepover
With a 4-day week-end at ISKL due to the holiday in Malaysia for Chinese New Year, we wanted to give Doug and Tracy a short break by having Reeve, Gabi and Rania for a Sunday night sleep-over. So, after church and a noon meal at our place for everyone, Doug and Tracy left and Nancy and I put all three kids down for naps. Afterwards we headed down to KLCC to tour the Petronas Oil Company's science-for-kids exhibit up on the 4th floor. On arriving, however, we discovered that Petrosains was sold-out for the day but that the adjacent dinosaur exhibit was available. So, we booked Petrosains for the next morning and enjoyed the "dinosaur experience."
Chicken nuggets at McDonalds followed the dinosaur experience prior to the journey home, baths and bed. On Monday morning after pancakes we headed back down to KLCC for Petrosains. All kinds of fun experiences were involved in the visit as the pictures illustrate.
Other happenings during the holiday sleepover included posing for pictures at Petrosains, exploring other parts of KLCC, having pizza at Pizza Hut, and reading stories at home. It might even be said that "a good time was had by all!" - rw
In the picture below, all of us are supposed to be really scared at the fearful prospect of being devoured by a dinosaur. And then, what about Rania?!!!
