How to Celebrate a 40th Wedding Anniversary
Ron and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary today by hiking with Daniel, Eli and Micah at Silver Falls State Park. The boys enjoyed playing in the small "lake" just above South Falls. While I was being the "lifeguard" the other grandparents had a snooze. After returning to Keizer we went for a swim at our local pool. Daniel is swimming in the middle with Eli watching. Our anniversary dinner was macaroni and cheese. Then we ended the day with a DVD about a baseball team. Celebrating with family was a great way to spend our anniversary day. - Nancy

Good pics. Especially the snoozing. Ideal anniversary meal. (I personally have hated macaroni and cheese since the W.W. II days of the clean plate club where we had it freqently in the school cafeteria)
We are taking our 3 youngest grandkids to Springfield, IL, to do the Lincoln thing next week.
