Without a doubt, grandson Eli Woodward is
outstanding in his field (soccer, that is!). So, on Saturday, 9/11, both Daniel and Eli had soccer games in different locations,

so Mark and Micah took Daniel and I took Eli. Eli's team had 12 boys show up, so the coaches of both teams decided to split the teams and play 4-on4 (with 2 subs) in two different games on adjacent fields. Eli scored a goal and did a great job so it was a delight to watch him in action. (In the middle picture, Eli, #6, and his buddy Alec, #5, are getting important pointers from the coach.)
It was a beautiful day in the D.C. area -- with the temperature in the high 70's and the humidity low. - rw

You look great, Eli. I heard Daniel had a great game in another location. Well done to both Eli and Daniel.
