India with 18 Ninth Graders

ISKL has a program called Global Action Program (GAP). For a week all students head out to Asian countries. This year I had the privilege to go the India with another teacher and 18 ninth graders. Day one was a visit to the Taj Majal.

The next 5 days we headed tent camps in the foothills of Himalayas and on the Ganges. We did river rafting, hiking, and biking. Part of two days were service projects at a local school.

The last day we took the train back to Dehli and visited the Gandhi Memorial Site. There was time for a little shopping and then a flight back to KL and arrival at ISKL after being up for 27 hours. -Nancy
