New Year's Day 2018

We spent January 1, 2018 driving from Venice to Striano which is close to Naples. It was a long 8 hours in the car but Doug did a great job of getting us there. It was a good way to spend the day since tourist sites were closed on January 1. Traffic was fine and we arrived safely at our B&B. We needed to find a place to eat and the owner of the B&B suggested a pizza place a block away. Doug and I went there and successfully ordered a large and a small pizza. It was a bit of a challenge since they only spoke Italian but with using Google translate we managed. The large pizza was huge and only cost 4.50 Euros (5.50 USD). The pizza was made in a wooden fired pizza oven and was delicious.- Nancy
