A "Celebratory Dinner"

Our six grandchildren were in rare form when Mark and Marta, Doug and Tracy (& Tasha in absentia) hosted Nancy and me for a celebratory Italian dinner prior to our departure from Silver Spring. (The event belatedly celebrated my 80th birthday and Nancy's 6/23 b-day.) I was overwhelmed when presented with a large Shutterfly picture book with contributions from a host of family members and friends. Doug was the one who organized the Shutterfly book while Nancy spent countless hours selecting pictures from photo albums and sending them to Doug.
The Italian food was delicious, with the menu pre-ordered by Marta and Tracy. All in all it was a delightful event, and a wonderful way to celebrate our family togetherness. (We did miss Tasha, however!) - rw
