The AOSR music and choir teacher, Andrew, lives in a small Italian town called Anguillara Sabazia. It is located 30 kilometres (19 miles) northwest of Rome. It nestles on a small cape on the coast of Lake Bracciano. It's medieval center and its beach make it a popular destination for tourists. There is a local train that goes there so when Andrew sent out an invitation to come to his house on Sunday to watch the local carnival parade my friend Martha and I decided to go. We enjoyed walking around the town before the parade. The parade was to start at 2 pm but it did not get underway until 4:15 pm. -Nancy
