Valley of the Temples

After lunch we went to the Valley of the Temples which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the greatest legacies of ancient Greece. This parade of well-preserved Doric temples dates back to the fifth and sixth centuries BC. The best-preserved of the temples are two very similar buildings traditionally attributed to the goddesses Hera Lacinia and Concordia. - Nancy
