St. Mark's Square, Zagreb - Seeing the Prime Minister

Today on our walking tour we arrived at St. Mark's Square, which is the center of government in Croatia. There was a red carpet, a military band ready, and press in a roped off area. We learned that the Croatian Prime Minister, Andrej Plenković, was coming out to greet the Prime Minister of Norway, Erna Solber. I was standing directly across the street from the Croatian Prime Minister and he waved at us. We listened to the band play the national anthems of both Croatia and Norway and stayed until they enter the parliament building. It was the highlight of our walking tour of Zagreb. - Nancy

Wow! That is quite the perfect timing. Not sure how many prime ministers I have seen in person. And you even got a wave!
